Addison Goering is a Certified IT Specialist with the WebSphere Education team. His main specialty is the design, development, and delivery of courses in the WebSphere product family. He has developed and delivered courses ranging from webinars to week-long workshops on products such as WebSphere ESB, IBM Workload Deployer, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere Business Services Fabric, and WebSphere BPM. He is the lead developer on the WebSphere Education team that is developing education on IBM PureApplication System. Jeff Howard is the Vice-President for IBM PureFlex System Marketing in IBM Systems and Technology Group responsible for launching and marketing IBM PureFlex System and IBM Flex System offerings. Jeff is based in Raleigh, NC at the IBM Research Triangle Park campus. Jeremy Savoy is a Client Technical Specialist for IBM System x and BladeCenter supporting US Federal government, and specifically US Department of Defense (DoD) accounts. He has spent 12 years at IBM, 10 of which were in development organizations as a Linux Systems Engineer where he supported hardware development teams. Jeremy is a VMware Certified Technical Sales Professional and also a Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administrator, and he holds an IT Specialist Level 1 Certification from IBM and the OpenGroup. Jeremy's current role involves architecting and designing end-to-end solutions for his clients, for both data center environments and deployed military systems. Nelson Velazquez is an IT Architect at IBM. Responsible for OS deployment and software distribution on physical and virtual systems on a daily basis. These machines are both IBM and non-IBM. Paul joined IBM in January of 2011. He has quite a bit of Enterprise Architecture background and experience and has worked with both mainframe and distributed technologies throughout his career. Throughout his career he has worked primarily from an Information Management baseline but has covered the entire IT spectrum from Hardware to Applications, Databases, and middle ware. Vincent Boucher is a Client Technical Specialist Storage for IBM Switzerland in System and Technology Group. He joined IBM France in 2005 in the IBM Montpellier benchmark center, working on large High Performance Computing opportunity as a platform specialist on System x. As storage quickly became a critical aspect for HPC architectures, he started his storage journey with IBM General Parallel File System and the IBM DS Family. He then switched completely to the storage world by moving to the storage benchmark team and focused on the demonstration center. The goal of this demo center is to provide local and remote access to IBM personnel and Business Partners world wide to small environments. These live environments, based on latest IBM solutions, are aimed to demonstrate new features to customer, but also provide some training facilities to Business Partners who feel more confident with latest IBM products. Because Vincent built some of these live demonstrations, he had the opportunity to travel across Europe to meet Business Partners and IBM sales teams in order to demonstrate these technologies and help them use the demo center. During one of these trips, he met the Switzerland STG team and finally join IBM Switzerland as CTS Storage in 2011. As a storage pre-sales specialist, he is helping customers to find out the best solution to answer their expectations and requirements.

Dr. Zeydy Ortiz is a Senior Performance Engineer in the Systems & Technology Group at IBM. She focuses on optimizing performance of System x, BladeCenter and PureFlex systems with an emphasis on energy efficiency and virtualization. Zeydy owns the technical content for the IBM System x & BladeCenter Virtualization Sizing Guides. The sizing guides provide general recommendations to define the infrastructure needed when moving to a virtualized environment. Zeydy is contributor members of The Green Grid helping the industry define metrics for efficient resource utilization in the data center.
