It was great to see all my friends and colleagues at Pulse 2013 again. Day 1 was jammed packed with knowledge and excitement. Todd Watson does a great job summarizing the Opening General Session highlights. You can also watch the session on video.

I manned the PureSystems booth in the Pulse expo for several hours and had a chance to hang out with the best and the brightest in Expert Integrated Systems at IBM. One of the most interesting questions we heard was, “How can I use a PureSystems box on a military battleship?” Answer: Any way you want to.

We heard lots of great feedback on the IBM PureSystems capabilities and overall fresh and clean feel of the PureSystems booth in line with the “Expertise. Pure and Simple.” theme.

In the evening, we celebrated the PurePalooza with Carrie Underwood–sponsored by PureSystems. What a fantastic night! Congratulations to Jason Verly (@mygeekdaddy) for winning the PurePalooza photo contest for best picture.
