IBM Netezza Social Networks combine with IBM PureSystems

Avatar+Image+EIS+IconFor the last several years, a large and interested audience has grown around Netezza’s social networks.  From Twitter to Youtube and LinkedIn to the “Thinking Inside the Box” blog, Netezza has enjoyed a tremendous level of engagement and interaction.  You, our audience, were with us prior to our acquisition by IBM and you stayed interested and engaged during our transformation to IBM Netezza.

Your comments, views, interactions and tweets helped shape Netezza’s company, products and people.  During our transition, our conversations with you helped to remind us the critical aspects of Netezza and its technology, providing an often-needed touchstone for us in a changing environment. On behalf of everyone on the IBM Netezza team, we wholeheartedly thank you for the conversation and support.  You have been an essential part of what makes us, us.

We’d like to ask our audience to join us, once more, in a new and very interesting transition for the IBM Netezza team and its technology.

As many of you know, IBM recently announced the PureSystems family of expert integrated systems, launching an exciting new category of smarter computing.  Combining the new PureSystems technology with Netezza Appliance know-how, we then launched PureData in October of 2012.  PureData represents the next evolution of Netezza technology, combining the best of IBM with the best of Netezza to bring the market a new, game-changing technology.

IBM Netezza will continue to develop new and exciting technologies for the PureData family, becoming the IBM PureData team.

As the newly formed PureData team, we’re phasing out our legacy Netezza networks and asking you, our essential audience, to join us on a new suite of social networks so that we can continue the conversations that have been critical to our development and evolution.

Please continue our conversation on these new social networks:
